Core Beliefs
Many alumni of the foster care system have shared their stories of overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds, inspiring readers around the world.
As a foster care system alumna, I can attest that my journey was marked by survivor’s guilt, shame, and silence—unintended consequences of navigating a well-intentioned but trauma-inducing system. For much of my life, these emotions held me captive, leaving me searching for a way to articulate and make sense of my experience.
That search came to fruition with the creation of Flyte Time Publications—a creative platform and working canvas designed to amplify life-affirming beliefs and share a powerful message about living a life of significance. Through this space, I aim to connect with trauma survivors, victims of abuse, and those with lived experience in foster care.
I share what I share because, at our core, we are far more alike than different—across age, ethnicity, orientation, and generation. My hope is to inspire and empower others to rise above their challenges and embrace the extraordinary potential within.

Core Beliefs
The call to live a life of significance
does not discriminate or come with an expiration date.
# 1
We can become who we were born to be by ending the spin cycle birthed by trauma.
#2
We can rise up and get on with living life by embracing the truth about who we are, beautiful, powerful, and creative.
# 3
We can live our best life by showing up as our authentic self not someone else.
This One's For You
“It’s never too late to rise up and create space for living with heart .”
